A First Pickup on the Western Slope: Interchange 360 Expands to Mesa County

Every new collection facility we add to our network represents something bigger than a logistics milestone. It represents a community that now has a reliable, responsible option for automotive container recycling.

We’re excited to share that Mesa County Hazardous Waste Collection Facility in Grand Junction has officially joined the Interchange 360 network as our newest Return Collection Facility (RCF). The very first container pickup from the site was recently completed, marking the start of regular service on Colorado’s Western Slope.

This is a meaningful addition to our growing program. Grand Junction and the surrounding Western Slope region are geographically isolated from the Front Range communities where the vast majority of Colorado’s population is concentrated, and expanding access there reflects our commitment to building a program that works for all Coloradans, not just those along the I-25 corridor.”
