Director of Operations

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Director of Operations will lead operational activities in the western region to advance our mission of delivering sustainable and compliant material management solutions in the petroleum and automotive sectors. This role is key in driving operational efficiency, ensuring strict regulatory compliance, and pioneering innovation in circular economy practices. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in the recycling industry, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws, and sustainable material management, alongside strategic vision and a passion for environmental responsibility.
Our ideal Director of Operations brings the following:
- Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years’ experience in operations management, preferably within the environmental, petroleum or automotive sectors.
- Experience managing compliance with environmental regulations and laws and a strong understanding of circular economy principles is preferred.
- Proficiency in using operational management software and tools.
