Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) State Overview

State Response Plans will be developed to outline how the LPMA powered by Interchange 360 will ensure compliance for its members with the different Regulatory requirements for each state.

To date, California, Colorado, Maine, Oregon, Vermont and Minnesota have passed EPR laws. Each of the states is currently working through a policymaking process that further defines EPR program expectations. LPMA powered by Interchange 360 provides a solution according to each state’s specific needs.

If you are a Producer* and you are intending to join the LPMA please complete the Notice of Intent form below.

For Colorado, LPMA has advised the State that it intends develop a Plan on behalf of its Members and Participants to comply with their obligations as Producers under the Colorado Producer Responsibility Program for Statewide Recycling Act. The LPMA is also developing compliance solutions for its Members in all states, including Oregon, California, Maine, Vermont and Minnesota.

Completing the Notice of Intent ahead of the state deadlines will enable the LPMA to provide you with registration details and develop a program that is in compliance with the requirements in each state.
