LPMA Announces Inaugural Board of Directors

This milestone marks a significant step forward in our commitment to industry leadership and proactive response to new regulatory requirements.
Founded by five of the leading names in the petroleum industry—BP Lubricants USA, Inc. (Castrol), Chevron U.S.A. Inc., ExxonMobil Oil Corporation, Pennzoil-Quaker State d/b/a SOPUS Products (Shell), and VGP Holdings LLC (Valvoline)—LPMA is dedicated to providing Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) compliance options for its members and supporting the development of circular material management solutions for petroleum and petroleum related products and packaging in light of recently EPR laws across multiple states.
Introducing the LPMA Board of Directors
The Board is composed of representatives from each of the five Founding Partners, bringing together decades of experience and leadership in the petroleum sector. The Board also includes Brian Ahearn whose expertise in recycling and sustainability will be invaluable as we navigate the evolving landscape of EPR compliance.

As a coalition of industry leaders, LPMA’s mission is to support its members in achieving EPR compliance while promoting best practices in packaging management. Our goal is to establish standardized processes for data collection and reporting, and to advocate for policies that balance environmental stewardship with business efficiency.
